| Subscription help How does the mailing list work? The Kids Craft Weekly email newsletter is completely free and is 'double-opt-in'. This means that you have to go through two steps in order to subscribe. This system can be a hassle, but ultimately, it protects people from being subscribed to the list against their wishes. To subscribe you have to enter your email address in one of the subscribe forms on this website. In fact, there's one at the bottom of this page. I then send you a confirmation email to the email address you provided. Once you receive the confirmation email you must respond to it in order to be put on the mailing list. Below are some common problems that people experience with subscribing: I haven't received a confirmation email If you use a free webmail service (such as hotmail, msn, gmail etc) there is a very good chance that your confirmation email has wound up in your 'junk' or 'spam' folder. Have a look in there and you'll probably see it. If it still hasn't arrived after an hour, try to subscribe again. You may have accidentally typed in the wrong email address. I have confirmed my subscription but haven't received a newsletter yet If you use a free webmail service (such as hotmail, msn, gmail etc) it is possible that your newsletters are going to your 'junk' or 'spam' folder. To prevent this from happening in the future you can add 'newsletter@kidscraftweekly.com' to your list of 'contacts' or 'approved senders'. If you have a yahoo email address you will possibly not ever receive a newsletter (see the note to yahoo users at the top of this page). I recommend that you subscribe using an alternative email address. It's worth noting here that, despite the name, newsletters are sent out fortnightly – not weekly. I used to receive newsletters but they no longer come If my mailing list robot has trouble sending to your address three times in a row your address will be put on hold and eventually deleted from the list. This is what is usually happening to anyone who subscribes with a yahoo address. You can check to see if you are still subscribed by simply trying to subscribe again. If you are still on the list my robot will send you an email to let you know this. If you are still subscribed but not receiving newsletters, please get in touch and together we will sort out what's happening. |
